	Information About AARDA

	Bringing National Focus to Autoimmunity Through Research, Education and Patient Services
	- The American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association is dedicated to the eradication of autoimmune diseases and the alleviation of suffering and the socioeconomic impact of autoimmunity through fostering and facilitating collaboration in the areas of education, research, and patient services in an effective, ethical and efficient manner.
	- The American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association's principal source of funds are public donations, grants, fund-raising events, and bequests.
	- AARDA is the only national organization dedicated to addressing the problem of autoimmunity, the major cause of chronic illness.
	- Administrative costs for AARDA represent less than ten percent (10%) of all public support. AARDA sponsors physician's conferences, research, legislative advocacy and a national awarness campaign to bring a national focus to autoimmunity.
