I was diagnosed with this disease in March....seem to be getting better...actually have been having problems with my swallow..have been tubed feed since then....yesterday was my first day to be able to eat some real food...asign the disease is regressing...

From what I understand the disease is usually treated by a Rhuematologist....I have been happy with my doctor.

I do not know what your symtoms are but mine have been some fatique, muscle weakness, inability to swallow which causes an excessive buildup of saliva and mucus which causes constant coughing and spitting up, skin rashes
and a 30 pound weight loss. A side effect was shingles.

I am currently classified as disabled and not able to work....but look forward to being able to do so.

If I can be of further help let me know.
