Kudos to Mackay, Leskovsek, and Rose

Elsevier, publisher of the Journal of Autoimmunity and other scientific publications, has awarded the "Journal of Autoimmunity Top Cited Article 2008-2010" to Ian R. Mackay, M.D.; Natasha V. Leskovsek, J.D., RN; and Noel R. Rose, M.D., Ph.D., for their paper entitled "Cell damage and autoimmunity: A critical appraisal." The paper was published in the Journal of Autoimmunity, Volume 30, Issue 1-2, 2008.

The article grew out of information presented at AARDA's Cell Damage and Autoimmunity Colloquium, an international colloquium bridging scientific and clinical disciplines, held on April 27-29, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Mackay is a member of AARDA's Scientific Advisory Board; Dr. Rose, Chairman Emeritus, AARDA's Scientific Advisory Board; and Ms. Leskovsek, AARDA volunteer and advisor.
