In remembrance of Jim...

In remembrance of Jim...

AARDA's loyal volunteer, Webmaster, and ebullient friend James Zehnpfennig passed away on September 12. Whether bursting through the back office door, ready to take charge of some project at hand, or bubbling with enthusiasm for a new Web change, Jim was a presence to experience! When AARDA needed a Web site, Jim decided to learn how to design a site for AARDA. Never mind that he had no previous experience; it was a challenge to be met. This Web site has won several honors for its design and depth of information.

Jim took on the Web site project 15 years ago and continued to contribute hundreds of volunteer hours yearly to AARDA, saving AARDA thousands of dollars through his in-kind donations.

Loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Jim balanced his law practice with all the family and fun things awaiting his attention. Life was definitely for living.

Jim leaves behind his wife Laurie, daughter Tara, and son Dale, along with his mother Virginia (Mrs. Leonard) Zehnpfennig; 11 siblings, including AARDA's Virginia Ladd; and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

We at AARDA are fortunate to have known Jim; and the many people who access AARDA's Web site continue to benefit from Jim's creativity and tenacity in developing the site. What a pleasure to have had Jim Zehnpfennig in our lives!
