March is national Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month (ADAM). The American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association will be hosting events and leading projects and initiatives to focus the national attention on autoimmune disease and its impact on patients and families.
This year, for the first time, we invite you to host your own “Walk for ADAM” and Walk on any day during the month of March to raise awareness and galvanize support where you live. As much as we would like to, AARDA can’t be in every city or state, but we know that there are autoimmune patients and families who are, and who want to do what they can to help bring about meaningful change, such as reduced time to diagnosis and fewer barriers to the treatments you need. A Walk for ADAM is one way you can help.
Whether your Walk takes place outdoors or inside; in warm weather or cold; with a group of 5 or 500 — each one will be important to our mission of raising awareness nationwide, and raising funding for autoimmune research. So, what are you waiting for?! Register now and build your team!
Please remember to to be safe and follow CDC guidelines to protect yourself from COVID-19.
